
Our east field locates has 25 km in the south D Angers, in the third, Loire Valley greater French wine area.
Our situation in the middle of the vineyard of Anjou enables us to work out a broad wine pallet.
The vines of the field of Richères extend on a surface from 31 hectares. The type of vines planted on the field are the traditional type of vines of Anjou:
30% black Grolleau
35% Frank Cabernet and Cabernet sauvignon
15% white Chenin
20% black Gamay; sauvignon white and Historical
Chardonnay
According to research a Historian amateu r: Mr. Legeais, Our family has been of tradition vigneronne for more than three centuries on the commune of Chavagnes Water.
A text of 1775 currently in our possession describes us the goods of one of our ancestors Jean GUIBERT after are death: one was of drank, one was of quarter, 2 small vats, a section, a bill hook has to cut the vine….
The vines were transmitted generations in generations always on the Commune of Chavagnes Water.
En 1972 Alain Guibert s’installe à Millé, il acquière les parcelles qui élaborent aujourd’hui nos Coteaux du Layon. L'exploitations grandit petit à petit et la vente directe se développe.
1980 : achat du bâtiment qui est actuellement notre siège d'exploitation.
2006 : installation de Fabrice avec Gilberte Guibert; création de la société EARL GUIBERT,
2007 : création du nouveau chai et début de production du BONNEZEAUX

Our exploitation currently rests on the ruins of the Castle of the Seigniory of Thousand. This castle it remains nothing any more but the puit like some enclosing walls. The armorial bearings which we raise on our bottles are those of the last lord of the castle.
The lords of the castle of Thousand exploited the vines of the Field of Richères, which is located just in edge of the walls of this castle.
